Established in 1983 by founder Rex Vandenberg, Injectronics has maintained an unwavering commitment to innovation and quality over the past four decades.
From its modest origins, Injectronics has evolved into a powerhouse known for its exceptional contributions to the automotive sector. The journey began when Rex Vandenberg, fresh from completing his automotive apprenticeship, co-founded Futura Auto Services with his wife Elaine. This endeavor blossomed from repairing late-model vehicles to diagnosing and repairing engine control units (ECUs), positioning Injectronics as a go-to solution for workshops and dealerships across Victoria.
One of the company's pivotal moments arrived in the late 1980s with a groundbreaking partnership with Mazda Australia. Injectronics was entrusted with repairing engine control units on a changeover basis for Mazda's extensive dealer network. This collaboration spurred rapid growth, prompting Injectronics to move to a larger facility on Cheltenham Road in Dandenong.
Injectronics' relentless pursuit of innovation led to the creation of dedicated test equipment, a virtual automotive simulator, and proprietary software solutions that set new industry standards. As the company grew, it relocated once more to a purpose-built factory in Hallam in 2000, solidifying its position as a technological leader.
